What to look for

Send enough fabric: about 1/2 yard per cap at Paradise Caps, rae & grace and Emily's Lilly; KimKaps asks for 3/4 yard for most styles and says fat quarters are not enough.
Use cotton: Paradise Caps recommends quilting cotton, rae & grace requires new, smoke-free cotton, and Emily's Lilly asks for washed cotton.
Expect custom caps to be final: Paradise Caps excludes caps made from customer fabric from returns, and rae & grace says custom orders are final.
Package and insure the fabric you mail: rae & grace says it is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
